Linlithgow Lions

Speedway is one of the most spectacular motorsports.  Watched by generations in countrys across the globe from Europe to America, Australia to Scandanavia.  It showcases skill, while taking great courage to ride 500cc motor bikes with no brakes. 

 

Speedway Racing arrived in Linlithgow 23 seasons ago, from its humble beginnings the sport has grown to become the most popular summer spectator sport in the county.  Speedway racing attracts a huge family auidence, watching the thrills and spills of the action in a safe a friendly enviroment.  Racing takes place every Friday evening from March to October at the purpose built Pride Park Stadium. 

 

The Lions compete in Sovereigns British Speedway League Division 2, racing teams from Kelso to Torbay, giving not only excellent local media coverage but also nationwide exposure, online, in written press and Live on TV.
